Updated: May 1, 2020

The DMC is invested in celebrating graduate research. We would love to have your work featured on our website. Below you can find information on what to submit and how to do so.

What to Submit

We invite a broad range of pieces from the fields of musicology, ethnomusicology, performance studies, composition, systematic musicology, and beyond. We are particularly interested in your own research however pieces touching upon current affairs, events, commemorations, etc., are also welcome.

Posts can be up to a maximum of 2,000 words. The integration of images, GIFs, sound files, videos is possible once these files are available on YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, SoundCloud, and GIPHY - just provide the link(s). Images can be sent directly as an email attachment, along with a .docx/.doc file containing the text and links.

How to Submit

Using the contact form, a line of enquiry can be initiated connecting you with our editors. In this initial message you can pitch your idea by sharing a brief (and informal!) abstract. From there, a custodian will advise on how to proceed before inviting you to send on your materials.
